Miracle Booties
I have spent almost over $100 trying to find the right booties for my dog over the past few years. They have either been too stiff, too uncomfortable, fall off after one block of wear. My dog went to the Vet last week after limping for a week on her front right leg and he told me that her pads were cracked because of the harsh weather conditions. It wasn't until I purchased these "Pawz" when all of the previous problems stopped. The booties don't fall off, they are comfortable enough for my dog to move around freely when walking or running, she can jump into snow drifts and go on pavement, and I have never seen her happier to go outside. It's also great for me to not have to worry about looking down every few minutes to make sure the boots are still on. I definitely recommend these for any dog owner who lives in a colder climate or their dog has dry pads and needs the extra protection. This is a great product and I would totally buy them again.
The only dog foot covers that work
I've tried fancier dog boots because I thought they would last longer. These look disposable and they look like balloons, so I thought it was a dumb idea to buy them. Well, now I know better. They are really the best idea for protecting dog paws--they stay on and do not let any salt through, and the dog is not freaked out by wearing them because they grip the ground pretty well.
They also last longer than I thought they would. I wash them after every use, then air-dry them inside and out and put baby powder on them. Both talc-based and cornstarch-based baby powder prevent the boots from sticking, and they are easier to put on. A single pack has lasted me 2 seasons so far. There are a few claw holes, but the foot covers work even with holes in them.
Have been a life-saver this winter!
These work best for short-haired dogs, They are like balloons, so imagine long fur coming into contact with a balloon. But for short fur, they're awesome! Our dog is at the point now where she'll give us her paw so we can put them on. Which is great, because they almost require three hands. Use both hands to open the hole, and pup can practically put her paw inside. These also work best when your dog's nails are not long. Long claws will catch, making it difficult to get a good fit. Also, long claws will puncture quicker... these are reusable, but they don't last forever. Shorter claws will make all the difference in their longevity. When we take them off, we rest them hole-side down on a carpet to dry out. Kind of blow in them to "inflate", so that they don't get stuck together, and they'll last longer too. This has been a harsh winter in Cleveland, but we still have 6 of these left (and 4 that are used, but still okay). Great product! Oh, and they're really...
